Our sages have done it with their power of  prayers and they have left with a gold mine of information which can be used for the mankind.

There are lot of books available in the market but going to a teacher or Guru would help in getting more of this knowledge.  Of course I was not destined to have a Guru but yes I have read lot of books on astrology and gained the little knowledge which I am using for the purpose of helping everybody around me.
