Navatara Chakra and Principles

How to prepare your own Navatara Chakra:

Before going ahead with the Navatara Chakra table content we need to understand the Navatara itself.  Nava means 9 and tara means stars and the ordering of the 27 star into 9 groups of 3 stars each.

Navatara nomenclature is of the following:

1)Janma

2)Sampath

3)Vipata

4)Ksema

5)Pratyari

6)Sadhaka

7)Vadha

8)Mitra

9)Atimitra

There are various planetary lordship schemes for Naksatra of which the Vimshottari scheme is universally applicable..The natural Navatara is recokned from Aswini and the Vimshotari lords are allocated to the Navatara starting from Ketu,Venus,Sun,Moon,Mars,Rahu,Jupiter,Saturn and Mercury. Natural Navatara scheme is as follows:

Navatara No Nakshatra No Nakshatra No Nakshatra Lord
Janma 1 Asvini 10 Magha 19 Mula Ketu
Sampat 2 Bharani 11 P Phalguni 20 P Asadha Venus
Vipat 3 Kritika 12 U Phalguni 21 U Asadha Sun
Ksema 4 Rohini 13 Hasta 22 Sravana Moon
Pratyari 5 Mrigasira 14 Citra 23 Dhanistha Mars
Sadhaka 6 Ardra 15 Swati 24 Satabisha Rahu
Vadha 7 Punarvasu 16 Visakha 25 P Bhadra Jupiter

Take the star where the Moon is placed and start the First Navatara from the star where the Moon is placed and go on till all the 27 stars are completed. Sometimes we find that Lagna and Janma Nakshatra are different hence before drawing the Navatara chakra it is good to check the strength from Lagna and Moon. So check the quadrants from the lagna and Moon. If lagna has quadrants strong then draw the chkara using the lagna Navatara and if Moon has got strong quadrants then use the constellation of where Moon is placed and then draw the Navatara Chakra..

The dasa and Antara when operating if under the Navatara of Janma,Vipat,Pratyari and Vadha remedial measures are important...

For Janma Pray to Ganesha

For Vipat Pray to Vishnu

For Pratyari Pray to Durga

and for Vadha Pray to Siva
