In the present days marraige is considered as a most important aspect in the life of the people.  Careful consideration has to be be both from the chart of the male and female and marraige has to be fixed.7th house is the house of marraige,6th house is the house of celibacy as it is 12th from the 7th house.The 6th house tends to obstruct the marraige or bring in seperation for the couple....

Apart from this house we should also see the UL.  The begining of the relationship starts from the 7th house.The placement of the 7th lord will indicate the natives wish in getting married.  But at the same time the placement of the 6th house lord in Kendra or Trikonas would make the native distance him away from the marraige...The placement of the 7th lord in other houses would give us ample of information with regard to the spouse and marraige.

Badhaka house or Badhakesa denotes that some badha arises and if the 7th lord is placed over in this house or the badhakesa is placed in the 7th house then there would be delay in marraige.  The solution likes to providing some music and dance to the god at the temple premises during the Tithi in which the native is born

The direction of the house from which the spouse would come is seen from the Venus. The 7th house lord from Venus is taken into consideration.  If the 7th house lord is placed in a movable,fixed or dual sign then the natives spouse would come from far of place,own place or placed which is not too far or too near to the house of the native or the place where he is born.

This can be seen in rasi or Navamsa depending on the strength of the 7th lord.  Attraction towards the spouse would come from the placement of the 7th lord from the UL...No bad planets should be placed in the 2nd house from UL as it would make the native feel unhappy about the beauty of the native.

The traits of the spouse would depend on the 7th house lord.

Sun:This would make the spouse  very proud,coming from a higher society and would be learned

Moon:Spouse would be very emotional in nature,fair and the mind would be wandering and would be attracted to sexual relatioships

Mars:Spouse would be agressive and short lived. Aspect of Saturn or Jupiter on Mars would ensure that the bad effects are nuliffied

Mercury:Spouse would be intelligent or learned,intelligent or talkative.  Placement of Moon in trines to Mercury is not good

Jupiter:Spouse would be lucky for the native and this removes the enimity and strife

Venus:Spouse would be beautiful and have a very good manners but association of Ketu and Mercury would spoil this trait

Saturn:Spouse would be older but may be hard working

Rahu:Spouse become enemy to the native and may be shorr tempered and would behave like a evil person

Ketu:Spouse would not be interested in the wordly affairs or marraige.

Any planets above mentioned if they also the 7th house the same results are produced. This has to be taken into only when the 7th house empty.

The Stronger between the UL and 7th house should be considered before arriving at the Lagna of the spouse. 

A7 and the association with the UL would denote that native would know the person before marraige. The competition would arise and would also indicate the No of the spouse who would compete for marraige depending on the planets aspecting the UL

Just arriving at the probable spouse does not mean that marraige is iminent but we should see the UL and if malefic planets are having dristi on it or is it placed in the malefic sign...Such placement is not good as native not to get married but a single benefic association would change the situation.

Placement of the UL lord in the 12th house does not good well with the native as he would not marry at all. If such a situation arises then the 2nd prospective marraige has to been seen from the 8th house from the UL as this denotes the 2nd marraige and all the principles mentioned earlier would also apply here

UL lord should involve in a curse otherwise the marraige would become very difficult and it many not result in marraige at all. Lagna or the Atmakaraka if involved in a curse then the native may not marry at all

Any planets placed in the 7th from UL would denote that such persons oppose the marraige....

Cojunction of the A6 and A7 and UL would indicate enemity in the marraige

Even the 8th house from lagna would break the marraige.  Malefics placed here or lorded would ensure that the marraige is broken through fights, benefics would ensure smooth breaking

Association of the 8th and 9th house would ensure the demise either of the spouse
